Was one of the sentences the 104 delegate heard multiple times at the Future News Worldwide 2019 conference. But when I stood there in the crowd of aspiring future journalists from all over the world, I wasn't sure which country I wanted to represent at heart. Practically I actually didn't know which country I was representing. At the time of the application I lived and studied in Scotland, but at the time of the conference I lived and worked in Paris however I am Danish. 3 weeks after the conference I had my sails set for South Korea to live and study.
Many of my fellow delegates brought their flags and proudly got photographed with them around the conference, but in all honesty even if I had a flag I wasn't sure which country it should represent.
