Master degree: Political Communication

I have a joint Mundus Journalism Master's degree from the University of Amsterdam, Aarhus University and Danmarks Medie- og Journalisthøjskole. The degree focuses on current topics within journalism, media and globalisation.

• The curriculum combines academic, theoretical knowledge with journalistic skills
• Strong focus on analysis, interpretation and understanding the global changes that increasingly challenge traditional boundaries between media, politics, technology, and culture.

The Politics & Communication Master focuses on the role of political journalism in democracy, centred around the changing nature of political journalism and other forms of political communication, and the impact it has on citizens, politics and society at large.

• Development of journalistic work on new media platforms to widen digital mindset.
• Trained in journalistic reporting of complex issues across different journalistic formats with a particular emphasis on storytelling and feature journalism.

Future News Worldwide 2019 Delegate

I was chosen to participate in the Future News Worldwide Conference 2019, which I attended between July 14th to 18th amongst 100 other budding journalists at the Reuters Headquarters in London. 

Student of the Year Award

At graduation from my bachelors degree at Robert Gordon's University, I was awarded as Student of the Year for me "commitment for the courses and dedication to the field of journalism. And not at least, endless curiosity".
